Welcome to GISUP 2016

Annyeong-haseyo!

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is a great pleasure for me to extend warm invitation to you all for the 18th International Symposium of Geospatial Information Science and Urban Planning (GISUP 2016, International) to be held from 18-19 February, 2016 in Chuncheon, Republic of Korea.

The provincial capital city of Gangwon-do, Chuncheon is a popular tourist destination located in close proximity to Seoul. It is a city with lakes, rivers and surrounding hills. It offers many festivals, river side aquatic sports and activities. Famous foods in Chuncheon include Makguksu and Dakgalbi.

We believe that this workshop will offer be a platform to share knowledge and experience among scholars. Moreover, it will be an excellent opportunity to visit Korea and experience Korean traditional culture at first hand.
